This ol', turn of the century bank is a VERY neat setting for a restaurant in such a small town. And the Black & Blue is GREAT. Now if they only got a little more creative with the menu and made it jibe with their motif...🤔

We always enjoy Bootleggers food, cocktails and friendly service. Great staff!

The food and service here are always good. The soups are really delicious. Prices are reasonable. Sara always does a wonderful job.

Wonderful eating experience the owners and staff do a great job of creating an atmosphere that is casual and comfortable. The menu has a great selection but is not overwhelming. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced.

I would be in trouble if I lived closer, I'd eat there as ll the time. As we sat watching other orders go by it was apparent that I was in for a delightful and delicious place of food. Serving size was good, the HOMEMADE bread (twice made every day) was absolutely mouth watering, the service is very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was so clean,inviting, unique and a pleasure to be in. I give it a definite thumbs up and I will make it there again.

Terrible service, terrible burgers!! They were burnt and dry, so we asked our server for something else and she said “well, we’re closing soon.” We weren’t offered a refund or something else to eat. We ended up just getting McDonald’s.

Well, it's been a long time since we were here.... Things have changed a lot! First, the girls were all attentive, polite, and provided a great experience. Next, the BEER was good! A limited selection of quality craft beer brewed on site. We settled for the stout. We ordered the onion blossom and it was delicious! Light, crisp and perfectly cooked. Also, the alligator tail was expertly cooked, moist and juicy! Tremendous quality in a small town restaurant.

We ordered two prime rib dinners. Both were 60-75% fat and tasted really good but for $22 per plate it could've been better cuts of meat.

Great food and atmosphere

Very nice experience! Prime rib was exceptional. Their craft beer was delicious. Service was great. Atmosphere was cool...an old bank that still had charming quality. Definitely recommend this place!

Our waitress, Kalli B, was great. Attentive, nice, even let us sample the soups before deciding. The menu was ample, but not overwhelming. The portions were good and fresh, and very tasty! Will be coming back for sure!

Enjoyed the special for the evening, Cashew Chicken. Great portion and very tasty. Waitress was excellent. Good food, good service, that's what I want.

I used to come here all the time when I was in high school it was like and every weekend deal. Went back for the 1st time in Maybe 10 years and I can honestly say I'm highly disappointed the waitress was super rude acted like she was mad that we were even there. The food was nasty my son got a lids burger it was so burn he couldnt even eat it. My pasta tasted old. Very sad I used to love this place :(

The staff was friendly the restaurant was clean that was the first time I had eaten there the plate I ordered was average.

Quite nice experience. The service was a little sloppy but we caught them between shifts. Food was excellent pub-style fair and the beer was very good.

We had good service, tried Alligator for an appetizer and took part of our entrees home for another meal. My granddaughter chose a Caesar Salad and Black and Bleu Hamburger. I had a tossed salad and French Dip. The food and sweet tea were good.

Had the 8oz filet, which was very tender and cooked to perfection! The vegetable medley was probably the best Ive ever had. Great service and food!

Easy access....good food

I tried this place today coming back home to Willard after a Eureka Springs trip. Loved it. The Blue burger was great I was so full could not finish last bite. Wife and kids loved there meals. Good job Bootleggers.

Great food and service. The decor is really nice too. I suggest getting warmer bulbs for over head lights instead of the cold LEDs and switch the music to a swing or era specific to go with the bank theme. The contemporary artists loud voices blasting through take away from the ambiance. I was impressed with everything our family of five ordered. I'm glad to have this restaurant in Aurora.

Owners were extremely nice. Very reasonable prices and above average food quality. Cant wait for them to start selling their own beers.

This is by far the best restaurant in Aurora, Monett, and Springfield to be honest. My favorites are their burgers (any), their cajun grilled chicken salad and their filet. Their filet is literally the best I've ever had, better than any I've had in Houston, Dallas, Nashville, Las Vegas and Kansas City. If you are a steak sauce person, 1. Eat better steaks and 2. Pleeeeease take a bite of the filet before you put any sauce on it. They do an AMAZING job seasoning it. The two ladies that own the restaurant are some of the hardest workers I've ever met and additionally were waitstaff before they acquired it. They know what they're doing, what you want, how you want it and best of all how to serve it to you. 5 stars hands down. (Oh yeah, and unlike certain other restaurants their waitstaff are great!)

I eat at Bootlegger's at least once a week. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Bootlegger salad is my fave!

One of coolest off-the-beaten-path restaurant/bars I've been to in Missouri. Cool historic building, great food, great people. Really looking forward to making my way back there.

Service wasn't anything worth going back for, the waitress was very short with us. I got the Philly Cheese steak, ended up being the worst tasting one I've had...sweet potato fries were pretty spot on. Brought out 1 roll for my cousin and I to split, even after asking for SOME more rolls.

Hopefully bad night, but prime rib due to microwave was not what hoped for

I had their horseradish encrusted salmon. It was very good. A bit unique which I enjoyed. The mixed veggies we're very fresh not just thawed frozen. Homemade dinner rolls. Waitress was very pleasant, quick, attentive. No complaints here. I will return for sure.

Steak was tough and pasta dish definitely wasn't as described

I got the French dip for lunch. It was filling and tasty. It came with handbattered fries, and a pickle. Staff was friendly and attentive and the decor is fitting for the restaurant. They have a full bar and brew their own beers. Its a old bank turned brewery. Come check it out. They say everyone loves the prime rib and ribeye steaks at dinner.

Delicious! Sweet potato fries the way they should be (a super light dusting of sugar and spice that enhance the natural sweetness). Fish & fries were amazing, fried mushrooms were fabulous and service was on point!

Food was great. Our waiter was having to bus, wait multiple tables, and seat people. He was amazing so he gets 5 stars. Minus one star for whoever schedules/assigns duties.

Over priced and food wasn't what it use to be. Will not go back.
